The best part of the whole celebration is being witness to these two "sister cousins" and the lifetime of memories, support, heartache, and love they share.
The cake
Silly me, I've been so very busy lately, I didn't get any pictures until it was candle-laden. This is a chocolate cake with raspberry swiss buttercream icing. Eloise and I made the flowers and little balls while we binged on the contents of our DVR, then mostly she placed them on the cake.
It was pretty delicious!
